Australian Curriculum Assessment and Reporting Authority (ACARA) is an independent statutory body aiming to improve the learning of all young Australians through world class curriculum, assessment and reporting.
The Australian Institute for Teaching and School Leadership (AITSL) provides national leadership for the Australian State and Territory Governments in promoting excellence in the profession of teaching and school leadership. The Australian Professional Teacher Standards can be found on this site. AITSL also have Teacher Toolkit where teachers can find online tools and resources to support quality teaching.
Teacher Registration Board of the Northern Territory is responsible for registering persons as teachers and facilitating the continuing competence of teachers in the Northern Territory.
